- Google account data: When you sign in with Google (via Clerk), we receive your email address, display name, profile picture URL, and Google account identifier. This data is used solely for account creation and authentication.
- Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not directly store credit card numbers or payment details.
- Learning progress: We record lesson completion status and quiz results.
- Usage logs: We may collect access logs for service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for:

- Account authentication and management
- Processing paid subscriptions
- Saving and displaying learning progress
- Service improvement and quality enhancement

- Clerk: User authentication (email OTP and Google Sign-In)
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Cloudflare: Hosting, CDN, and data storage
- Azure Cognitive Services: Speech synthesis

We use cookies necessary for maintaining authentication sessions. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.

6. Google Account Data

When you choose to sign in with Google, we access the following data from your Google account through our authentication provider (Clerk):

- Email address
- Display name
- Profile picture URL
- Google account identifier

This data is used exclusively for:

- Creating and managing your Kotobridge account
- Authenticating your identity and maintaining your login session
- Displaying your profile information within the Service

We do not use your Google account data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your Google account data with third parties except as necessary for authentication (Clerk) and hosting (Cloudflare).

Your Google account data is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

You may request deletion of your Google account data at any time by deleting your account through account settings or by contacting us at privacy@kotobridge.org.

7. Data Storage and Security

User data is stored in Cloudflare D1 database and protected with appropriate security measures. Payment information is processed in Stripe's secure environment. Personal data is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights:

- Access to your data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Delete your account
